Yor Forger Figure – My Spy x Family Figures Creation Story

From a Small Room Alone to Wanting My Own Yor Forger Figure

I have never been someone who talks easily, but the idea of creating my own Yor Forger Figure slowly became something very personal to me.

I do not communicate much with other people, and I rarely say my feelings out loud. After work, I often return to my room and hear the outside noise slowly fade away. Only the light from my computer screen and phone remains. Anime and games have become the most stable source of happiness in my daily life.

I did not know much about SPY×FAMILY at first, and I never imagined that one day I would care so much about a Yor figure.

The first time I heard this name, I was at work. My colleagues were talking about Anya’s expressions and said the anime was very interesting. I only listened for a moment and did not watch it right away. Until one night, I returned to my small room feeling tired and empty. I wanted to find a light anime to watch while eating.

When I opened my phone and searched, I saw many expression images of Anya.

That little girl’s expression felt very special. She looked as if she secretly knew many adult secrets, but still had to pretend she knew nothing. That clever and funny look immediately caught my attention. So I searched for this anime, and from that night on, I slowly entered the story of SPY×FAMILY.

That Fake Family Somehow Pulled Me Toward Spy x Family Figures

The setting of SPY×FAMILY caught me from the beginning.

A spy father, an assassin mother, and a daughter who can read minds form a “fake family” for their own reasons. They hide their identities from each other, live what looks like an ordinary life on the surface, and secretly deal with danger and missions in their own worlds.

At first, I thought this setting was funny.

Loid acts as a calm spy, yet he has to learn how to be a father. Anya knows everyone’s secrets, but she still has to act like an ordinary child. She often reacts strangely after hearing what adults think, and those moments always made me laugh.

As I kept watching, I realized this anime was not only funny.

This family starts as a lie, yet it slowly begins to feel real. At first, Loid takes care of Anya only for the mission, but he gradually starts to care about her more. Anya works hard to stay in this family, even though she often makes mistakes. Yor follows a similar path. At the beginning, she only needs an identity, but after entering this home, something inside her slowly changes.

That feeling touched me deeply.

Maybe I felt it more because I spend too much time alone. When I saw them sitting together, eating, going out, and talking, I knew this family had only formed for a mission. Even so, something in my heart still felt gently pulled.

The lively atmosphere inside their home felt completely different from the silence of my own room. Later, this feeling also became the reason why I wanted a Yor Forger collectible figure of my own.

I Started Noticing Yor Because She Did Not Feel Like an Ordinary Mother

At first, Anya held most of my attention.

Her expressions were too memorable, and she made the story feel relaxing. But as the plot continued, Yor slowly became the character I watched most closely.

When Yor first appeared, she did not immediately grab all the attention. She spoke softly and acted with a bit of caution. She did not feel like someone very familiar with ordinary life. Instead, she seemed to be trying hard to make herself look normal.

She entered Loid and Anya’s life not because of real love.

She needed an identity, and Loid needed a wife. Both of them had their own reasons. Yet Yor did not treat this family as a disguise she could casually deal with. She wanted to do well as a wife, and she also wanted Anya to feel that she was reliable.

She just was not very good at it.

She did not understand many details of ordinary family life, and she did not know what a qualified mother should really be like. Sometimes she became nervous and worried that she had done something wrong. That clumsy reaction felt very real to me.

This clumsiness gradually pulled me toward her.

Yor clearly has a dangerous identity, yet in family life, she appears careful and unsure. She can handle terrifying situations, but she does not know how to naturally take care of a child. She can face danger, but ordinary life often leaves her at a loss.

This contrast made her feel very special to me, and it later shaped how I wanted my Yor Forger Figure to look.

Yor Let Me See a Little Warmth Inside This Funny Family

SPY×FAMILY has many funny scenes.

Anya often reacts in unexpected ways, and Loid falls into confusion because of small details in family life. This fake family always seems to barely maintain a lie that could collapse at any moment. Yet the more seriously they try, the funnier and more touching it becomes.

Yor’s presence adds warmth behind all that comedy.

She is not Anya’s real mother, but she takes Anya seriously. She is not very good at expressing care, but when danger appears, she instinctively protects her. Many times, her tenderness does not come through words. It hides in a movement, a reaction, or the way she quietly steps forward.

She is clearly unfamiliar with family life, but she keeps trying to get closer to it.

That touched me.

I am also someone who does not express myself well. Sometimes I care about something, but I do not know how to say it. When I saw Yor’s clumsy seriousness, I felt she was very close to me. She is not perfect. She only uses the limited ways she knows to protect this family.

That feeling made her easier to remember than a character who only looks beautiful. It also made me feel that a simple anime model would not be enough. A real Yor figure should carry that quiet warmth.

I Gradually Began to Depend on the Feeling Yor Gave Me

During the time I watched SPY×FAMILY, I was often alone in my room.

I worked during the day and returned to my small room at night. When I ate, I would turn on the anime. On the screen, Loid, Yor, and Anya lived through noisy and funny daily moments. Outside the screen, my room stayed quiet. Sometimes I knew clearly that it was only an anime, but that family atmosphere still drew me in.

Yor affected me the most.

She is not perfect in this family, but she is serious. She struggles with ordinary life, but she keeps learning. She does not know how to be a real mother, yet she keeps Anya’s safety in her heart. Her awkwardness in daily life makes her feel close, while her calmness in danger reminds me that she is not ordinary.

I slowly began to depend on this feeling.

It was not that she could truly come into my life. But every time I saw her, I felt that my lonely little room had gained a little warmth. The funny and unstable family relationship between Yor, Anya, and Loid briefly made me forget the emptiness of living alone.

Later, I realized I was no longer watching this anime only as something to enjoy with dinner.

I wanted to see how Yor would face this family next. I wanted to know whether ordinary life would make her nervous again, and whether she would reveal that calm look again at a critical moment.

This kind of affection did not appear suddenly.

It accumulated slowly, and it became the emotional reason behind creating my own Yor Forger Figure.

I Started Wanting a Yor Forger Figure of My Own

After I had the idea of creating Yor, I began thinking about how to make this plan real.

I did not want to create a model that only looked similar on the surface. To me, Yor was no longer just an ordinary anime character. She had the clumsiness of family life and the calmness of a dangerous identity. She could feel gentle, but she never lost that sense of distance.

So I could not simply make her black outfit, gold hair accessories, and hairstyle.

That would only let people know this was Yor, but it would not necessarily remind them of the Yor I liked in the anime. I wanted to create my own Yor Forger Figure, one that could remind me of that night, that small room, that anime, and the first time I felt drawn to Yor.

After I truly started making this Yor collectible figure, I realized this was much more difficult than I had imagined.

The First Step Was Her Face

I first decided to work on Yor’s face.

The face is the most important part of the entire piece. If the face does not feel like Yor, then no matter how well the body, hair, and outfit look, people will still struggle to feel that she is Yor.

At first, I found professional craftsmen to sculpt her face.

I prepared many reference images of Yor and tried to explain the feeling I wanted as clearly as possible. I wanted her face to stay close to the anime. She could not look too cold, and she could not look too sweet. Her eyes needed a little distance. Her expression had to feel restrained, and her face lines needed to keep Yor’s quiet yet dangerous aura.

The Face Sculpt Did Not Work at First

After the actual sculpting began, I realized the process was not simple.

Many craftsmen had never worked on this type of character sculpt before. They could sculpt realistic faces and common doll-like faces, but Yor was different. If her face became too realistic, it would lose the anime feeling. If it became too cartoonish, it would turn into an ordinary anime female face and lose Yor’s own character.

I was not satisfied with the first few sculpted versions.

Some faces looked too stiff and did not carry the slight awkwardness Yor has in family life. Some eyes were too cold and left only the assassin side. In other versions, the features looked pretty separately, but when placed together, they did not look like the Yor in my heart.

During that period, I felt very conflicted.

I knew what I wanted, but others could not fully understand it. Every time I saw a new sculpt, I would feel hopeful at first. After looking at it carefully, I still felt something was missing. After several attempts, I realized that if I only waited for others to understand Yor for me, I might never achieve the effect I truly wanted.

I Started Studying and Adjusting the Face Myself

Later, I started gathering more references myself.

I repeatedly studied Yor’s different expressions in the anime. Her eyes when facing Anya, the change in her expression when entering a dangerous state, her lowered gaze, side profile, and the lines of her face when she stood quietly were all details I slowly collected.

At the same time, I learned sculpting methods from some craftsmen.

I began to understand how eye depth, mouth angle, nose bridge transition, and cheek lines could affect a character’s temperament. Later, I no longer only handed my requirements to others. I began to participate in the face sculpting myself.

I adjusted Yor’s eyes many times.

If the eyes were too intense, she would look too fierce. If they were too soft, she would become an ordinary gentle character. The corners of her mouth could not rise too obviously, because Yor is not the kind of character who always smiles. The face lines also could not become too hard, otherwise the softness she has in family life would disappear.

This process was slow and took a lot of patience.

But after I personally participated, Yor’s face slowly approached the image in my heart. She was not only beautiful. She had a little quietness, a little distance, and the feeling of someone hiding a secret.

That was the Yor I wanted for this Yor Forger Figure.

Soft Rubber Hair Makes the Yor Figure Closer to the Anime Hairstyle

After the face slowly became settled, I began to consider her hair.

Yor’s hairstyle is very important. She is not an ordinary long-haired character. The hair beside her face, the shape at the back, and the position of her gold hair accessories all directly affect the overall impression. If the hair is wrong, even if the face is close, the whole character will still feel off.

So I chose soft rubber hair.

I chose soft rubber hair not simply for convenience, but because it suits Yor’s anime hairstyle better.

If ordinary hard hair is used, it can look stiff up close, like pieces of plastic fixed onto the head. But if the hair looks too realistic, it may move away from the anime-style silhouette. Yor’s hairstyle needs to keep its shape. It cannot become ordinary loose hair.

Soft rubber hair solves this problem.

It preserves the anime hairstyle silhouette without looking as rigid as ordinary hard hair. The hair beside the face can fit more naturally, and the back shape can also retain Yor’s original look. The gold hair accessories and the hair can also connect more smoothly, so they do not look like separate parts added later.

For a Yor figure, hair is not a small detail.

If the hairstyle is wrong, her character recognition becomes weaker. So I would rather spend more time on this part than make something that is only roughly similar.

Full Silicone Makes This Yor Forger Collectible Figure Feel Closer to Reality

For the body, I chose full silicone.

I did not want Yor to be only a hard model. If the body is too hard, it may look acceptable from a distance. But when viewed closely, the transition between the shoulders, arms, waist, and legs will feel stiff. That would make her look like an ordinary shell, not a character that has truly received careful recreation.

The biggest advantage of full silicone is that it makes her look more realistic.

It allows the body lines to appear more natural and reduces the cold stiffness of ordinary hard materials. Yor has both the softness of a female character and the strength of an assassin. If the material is too rigid, this temperament becomes difficult to express.

I chose full silicone not to add a fancy-sounding specification.

I chose it because I wanted this Yor Forger collectible figure to look more like a real Yor after stepping out of the anime. She should not be something that can only be viewed from far away. She should stay nearby and invite slow appreciation.

The face, hair, and body need to feel unified, otherwise the entire piece will feel disconnected.

For me, full silicone is one step toward making Yor more real.

Jelly Chest Was Made for a Soft and Realistic Touch

For the chest, I used a special jelly chest process.

This technique was not chosen to make her exaggerated. What truly attracts me about Yor is not a single body part, but the character herself. So the jelly chest must serve the whole figure, instead of taking attention away from the face and character temperament.

I chose jelly chest because it gives a softer and more realistic touch.

If the chest uses an ordinary hard structure, it may look shaped visually, but it will feel stiff when touched. Since the body already uses full silicone, the chest cannot feel disconnected from the rest of the body. If this part is still hard, the overall realism will break.

The jelly chest makes the chest area softer.

It does not feel stiff like an ordinary model when touched, and visually, it also allows the body lines to transition more naturally. The chest and waist do not feel like a hard block protruding separately. Instead, they coordinate better with the overall body texture.

I wanted this technique to make the Yor Forger Figure more realistic, not make her look abrupt.

That is why I chose jelly chest.

The Built-in Skeleton Lets This Yor Figure Pose Freely

I also added a built-in skeleton to her body.

Because I did not want Yor to stay in only one fixed pose.

Yor has many different states in the anime. She can stand quietly, and she can also look as if she is ready to act at any moment. She has a gentle side in family life, but when danger approaches, she immediately becomes calm. If the body cannot move at all, many of these feelings can only remain trapped in one angle.

After adding the skeleton, she can pose in the way I like.

The arms, waist, legs, and standing posture can all be adjusted according to preference. She can stand quietly in a display cabinet, or she can be posed with a slight sense of readiness. This way, she is no longer just a fixed display piece. She has more body language.

The skeleton was not added to make her do exaggerated poses.

Yor’s temperament is not suitable for something too flashy. The meaning of the skeleton is to make her feel more natural and allow the collector to display her according to their own imagination.

With the skeleton, this Yor figure feels more like a character that can stay for a long time, be accompanied, and be slowly adjusted.

When Yor Was Finally Completed, I Looked at Her for a Long Time

When Yor was finally completed, I did not immediately feel relaxed.

I first looked at her for a long time.

From the moment I first had this idea to the moment she finally stood in front of me, I had gone through many moments of dissatisfaction. I adjusted the face sculpt again and again. I reconsidered the hair material. I also had to choose the body material carefully. Every part required careful decisions.

The face sculpt worried me the most.

The earlier failures made me afraid that the final result would only be an ordinary character wearing Yor’s outfit, not the Yor in my heart. So when I finally saw her standing in front of me, and her facial expression came close to what I wanted, I felt a kind of calm that was hard to describe.

She finally did not look like an ordinary model.

Her face had the shadow of Yor. Her hair kept the anime-style silhouette. Full silicone made the body more realistic. The jelly chest brought a soft touch. The skeleton allowed her to pose in the way I liked.

At that moment, this Yor Forger Figure did not feel like a simple product.

It felt more like I had slowly brought a character who could only be seen on the screen into reality.

After Having This Yor Forger Figure, My Life Changed a Little

After Yor was completed, I placed her somewhere in my room where I could see her.

In the past, after I came home from work, the room was always quiet. Anime and games could bring happiness, but after turning off the screen, those characters still returned to the screen. Now it is different. Yor stands in a real space, and every time I pass by, I can see her.

This change is not dramatic.

But it really makes the room feel less empty.

When I see her, I think of the night I first watched SPY×FAMILY, and I also remember why I liked Yor. Her contrast in family life, her seriousness toward Anya, and her quiet yet dangerous temperament are all brought back through this piece.

She is not just a display figure.

She feels more like proof that I turned my affection into something real. In the past, I could only see her through the story. Now she is in my room. Even if she is only standing there quietly, she makes this space feel like it contains something that belongs to me.

To me, this feeling is very special.

She does not really speak, and she does not truly change my life. But her presence reminds me of the story that once helped me relax, and it also reminds me of the time I spent making her.

This is why I wanted to have my own Yor Forger Figure.

How I Will Treat Her in the Future

In the future, I will take this Yor seriously.

She is not an ordinary model bought out of temporary excitement. From the first idea to the final completion, she took a lot of time. Face sculpting, soft rubber hair, full silicone, jelly chest, and built-in skeleton were all choices made to bring her closer to the Yor in my heart.

I will take good care of her.

Full silicone needs to stay clean and should not remain in contact with easily staining fabrics for a long time. When displayed, she should also avoid pressure. The soft rubber hair and accessories should not be pulled hard. Although the built-in skeleton can move, the joints should not be forced. Any adjustment should be made slowly along the direction of the joints.

I hope this Yor collectible figure can stay with me for a long time.

Every time I see her in the future, I will remember why I liked Yor, and I will remember how this piece went from an idea to reality. To me, she is no longer just a character from SPY×FAMILY. She is a presence I carefully chose to keep.

I will treat her as an important collection.

I will keep her clean and let her stay in my room for a long time.

FAQ

Why is this Yor Forger Figure focused so much on the face?

Because the face decides whether she truly feels like Yor. Yor’s expression is difficult to recreate. It cannot be too cold or too sweet. Only when the eyes, mouth, and facial lines stay close to the character can the entire piece feel alive.

Why choose soft rubber hair for this Yor figure?

Soft rubber hair is more suitable for recreating Yor’s hairstyle from the anime. It can maintain the hair silhouette without looking as stiff as ordinary hard hair. For a character with such a recognizable hairstyle, soft rubber hair helps the whole figure feel closer to the original design.

What are the benefits of full silicone in a Yor Forger collectible figure?

Full silicone makes the body look more realistic and allows the lines to transition more naturally. Compared with ordinary hard models, it feels less stiff and suits a character like Yor, who needs both realism and collectible value.

Why add a built-in skeleton?

The built-in skeleton allows Yor to pose in the way the collector prefers. She does not have to remain in one fixed posture. The arms, waist, legs, and standing position can all be adjusted, giving her more body language.

What is the purpose of the jelly chest?

The jelly chest creates a softer and more realistic touch. It also makes the texture between the chest and the full silicone body more coordinated, avoiding the stiffness of a normal hard structure.

What was the strongest feeling after completing this Yor Forger Figure?

The strongest feeling was that she was finally no longer only a character on the screen. Seeing her completed brings back the entire process, from liking Yor to repeatedly adjusting the production details. That feeling is deeper than simply buying a model.

How did life change after having this Yor figure?

The biggest change is that the room gained a visible sense of companionship. Before, the character only existed in the anime. Now she stands in a real space. Every time I see her, I remember the story of SPY×FAMILY and the process of creating her.
